Baby Friendly London is on a mission to make our city easier to navigate for parents with pushchairs. We’re building a directory of London’s best baby-friendly pubs, restaurants, cafés and attractions, which allows you to tailor your search based on the facilities that matter to you, whether you need a highchair for your little one, proximity to a step-free Tube station, or baby change facilities that dads can use.
Baby Friendly London is a brand new platform, and we ‘soft launched’ in March 2022 with a selection of hand-picked venues around Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Wanstead and Hackney. Our plan is to rapidly expand our coverage across London, creating the number one destination for parents searching for baby-friendly venues online. Watch this space!

What do you mean by ‘baby friendly’?
In our opinion, the perfect baby friendly pub, café or restaurant is a place with ample highchairs, unisex baby change facilities, plenty of space to manoeuvre a pushchair, a welcoming attitude towards families and proximity to a step-free Tube or train station. In order to be featured on our site, venues to need to satisfy the majority of these criteria, though we recognise that it’s not always possible to provide all of these facilities, for example in some of London’s older pubs that simply don’t have the space.
Have you visited all these places personally?
With the best will in the world, we are never going to be able to visit every single baby friendly business in London. Venues are selected for inclusion based on our personal experiences, reviews from trusted sources and recommendations from our users, and we always verify the presence of facilities such as highchairs and baby changing, either in person or by contacting the business directly. We will always let you know on a listing page if we’ve visited the venue with a baby ourselves, but we would also love your help – if you’ve been somewhere featured on our site with your little one, please leave a review and tell us what it was like!
